Apollo Group TV downloader code
The Apollo Group TV downloader code is the 6-digit number you enter in the Downloader app to install Apollo on Firestick, Fire TV, or any Android-based device. After you subscribe, we email it to you along with your username and password. This page explains exactly how to find your code, use it, and fix the most common errors.
What is a downloader code?
The downloader code is a short, unique number — usually 6 digits — that the free Downloader app uses to fetch the Apollo Group TV APK installer. Instead of typing a long URL on your TV with a remote, you just type 6 digits.
The code is tied to your subscription. It does not contain personal information, but it does identify your account, so keep it private.
Where to find your code
Your code is sent in two places automatically after you pay:
- Welcome email. Subject line typically reads “Apollo Group TV — Your subscription is active.” The code appears in the body alongside your login credentials.
- Client Portal. Log in at apollogrouptvs.com/ClientPortal and open the Subscription / Downloads section. Your code is shown there permanently.
Lost your email and can’t log in? Contact supportand we’ll resend the code within minutes.
How to use it on Firestick
- From the Firestick home screen, search for and install the Downloader app (free, from the Amazon Appstore).
- Before first use, enable sideloading: Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options → Install unknown apps, then enable the toggle for Downloader.
- Open Downloader. In the URL bar at the top, type your 6-digit code and press Go.
- The APK downloads in about 30 seconds. Click Install when the installer prompt appears.
- Open Apollo Group TV, enter your username and password from the welcome email, and start streaming.

Common errors and fixes
“Code not found”
The number is right but Downloader can’t resolve it. Three likely causes:
- Subscription not active yet. Lightning is near-instant; MoonPay (card) takes 5–10 minutes; on-chain Bitcoin waits for blockchain confirmation (10–30 minutes). Try again after the appropriate window.
- Typo. Double-check the code against your welcome email. Easy mistakes: 0 vs O, 1 vs I, 5 vs S.
- Expired code. Codes are tied to active subscriptions. If yours expired, renew it from the Client Portal.
“Parse error” or “App not installed”
The APK downloaded but the installer crashed. Almost always a storage issue. Free up space on your Firestick by uninstalling apps you don’t use (Settings → Applications → Manage Installed Applications), then enter the code again.
Downloader shows a 403, 404, or 500 error
Network-side issue, not your code. Wait 2–3 minutes and try again. If it keeps happening, your local ISP or Firestick DNS may be blocking the request. Restart your router and Firestick, then retry.
Code is correct but the app won’t install
Confirm you enabled “Install unknown apps” for Downloader specifically (not just developer mode globally). The toggle is at Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options → Install unknown apps → Downloader.
Frequently asked questions
Can I share my downloader code?
No. Your code is tied to your subscription. Sharing it lets the recipient install the app under your account, which counts against your 5 simultaneous connections and may cause both of you to be locked out.
Does the code expire?
The code itself doesn’t expire, but it only works while your subscription is active. If you let your subscription lapse and resubscribe, your downloader code stays the same.
I have multiple Firesticks. Do I need a different code for each?
No. The same downloader code works on every device. Your subscription supports up to 5 simultaneous streams, so you can install Apollo on every Firestick in the house.
Can I use the code on Android TV, Smart TV, or other devices?
The Downloader method described here works on any Fire OS or Android-based TV that supports sideloading. For Roku, iOS, and Smart TVs without sideloading, the install method is different — see the device-specific guides in your welcome email or contact support.
Where can I get a new code if I lost mine?
Log in at apollogrouptvs.com/ClientPortal — your code is shown on your account page permanently. If you can’t access the portal, contact supportand we’ll resend it.
